Our family homestead was born from the desire to feed our own 9 Blessings natural foods. Food that has undergone a minimum of processing with more beneficial nutrients, such as antioxidants, while avoiding preservatives, pesticides, artificial colors and flavors to name a few. Jillian began grinding flour, baking bread, and cooking 3 meals a day from “scratch” 15 years ago when we realized some of our children were very sensitive to processed foods. It has been a journey that has culminated in our family buying a 30 acre homestead in the rural community where Cody’s own family homesteaded beginning in the 1980’s. Some of our foods available are found below. Please email us if you have any questions.

from state licensing and inspection. This product may contain allergens.”
Pasture Raise, Grass Fed & Finished Beef
We offer half and whole beef as available. Get on the waiting list now! This is separate from our foods sold under the Arkansas Food Freedom Act 2021. You are actually purchasing all or a portion of a steer, our homestead will act as the custodian of the steer. When you own the steer you aren’t required to have it processed with an USDA inspector, which reduces the cost of processing. The processors we use ARE state inspected facilities. We will be happy to speak with you to explain how the process works. The short story is you get an excellent grass-fed, pasture-raised, hormone & antibiotic free meat at a cheaper price by owning the steer before we take it to process.
When compared with other types of beef, grass-fed beef may have some heart-health benefits. Grass-fed beef may have:

Fresh Raw 100% A2/A2 milk
100% A2/A2 milk from our Brown Swiss family milk cow, Alice! The health benefits of A2/A2 milk are numerous. I will probably build a page on our website devoted just to these benefits. It contains a significant amount of omega-3 fatty acids, too. These are polyunsaturated fats that your body needs in order to function well. The consumption of omega-3 fatty acids has been linked to lower triglyceride levels, reducing the risk of heart disease or stroke.

Historically, cows produced milk that contained only the A2 form of beta-casein. Today, most of the milk available from the local grocery store contains mostly A1 proteins.
A1 and A2 proteins affect the body differently.
When A1 protein is digested in the small intestine, it produces a peptide called beta-casomorphin-7 (BCM-7). The intestines absorb BCM-7, and it then passes into the blood. Doctors have linked BCM-7 to stomach discomfort and symptoms similar to those experienced by people with lactose intolerance.
The structure of A2 protein is more comparable to human breast milk, as well as milk from goats, sheep, and buffalo.

Consumption of A2 milk has a lower risk compared to A1 milk against digestive problems, type 1 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and neurological diseases, which have an important place in terms of the general health status of athletes. Its similarity with regular milk in athlete performance makes A2 milk a reliable food for athletes with GI disorders. A2 milk has a higher potential to be used as a nutritional source in athletes and even more in all humans’ diets owing to its incredible functions on health. A2 milk and its derived products ranging from cheese to yogurt would be an important part of a healthy and balanced diet of a significant number of people in the future.

A different state law governs the sale of raw milk in Arkansas. Arkansas law (20-59-248) allows the sale of up to 500 gallons per month of raw milk to be sold at the farm to the end consumer.
Testimonials
“What can I say about the dairy free sandwich bread? Well the first thing is I’m glad Jill decided to let me buy more than one at a time. Thank you Jill for the savings and getting more than one at a time. This is some of the best bread I have ever had. Please place my order for two more loaves. And let me know when the whole wheat is ready to order!”

My bread testimony…….
I’ve had the opportunity to taste a variety of freshly baked breads from France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany and across our great nation. But nothing compares to the sweet wholesome taste of Jillian’s made from scratch freshly baked bread. If one was to imagine what manna from Heaven would taste like, this would be it! I promise you won’t be disappointed!”
